Cynthia Timberman

Cynthia Timberman, ND, CTN, is an avid natural health proponent. Almost twenty years ago while attending college and pursuing a degree in psychology, she got into a horrible car accident. Sitting in her car with the two youngest of her four children, a van rear-ended her going almost 50 miles per hour. The driver had fallen asleep at the wheel. Cynthia was forced into the oncoming lane of traffic and hit head-on by another car going at the same speed. Everyone survived but she ended up with severe whiplash and spent over a year going from doctor to doctor trying to get relief from the spasms that would often keep her neck bent to one side. Nothing worked and some of the "fixes" made her even worse. In desperation, she decided to try an alternate route and visited a Naturopathic Doctor. Miracle of miracles occurred and within three weeks she was pain free for the first time in over a year. She was thrilled!

Within two months, Cynthia was back in the hospital - this time for kidney stones. After hearing the proposed treatment, she asked to be released and once again went back to the Naturopath. He suggested she take a couple of herbs and within two months the stones were gone. "This was incredible," she remembers. "I was able to get rid of all the stones without the painful procedures while paying a fraction of the cost the hospital was proposing."

It was at that point Cynthia switched her major in college to the sciences. She continued her education while raising her children and went on to receive degrees in Nutrition, Herbology and Naturopathy. After receiving her Doctorate in Naturopathy (ND) she went on to become a board Certified Traditional Naturopath (CTN) through the American Naturopathic Certification Board (ANCB).

Before going into private practice as The Natural Path Inc., Cynthia partnered with Dr. William Schroeder, D.O., in helping to establish his alternative health care clinic. Dr. Schroeder is an understudy of Dr. Andrew Weil, a well-known author and the founder of the Foundation for Integrative Medicine in Tucson, AZ.

Additionally, Cynthia is trained in Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA), an analysis tool created by Dr. Dick Versendall, based on the science of kinesiology. Using this analysis tool she implements a proprietary series of eight body system cleanses along with the indicated building blocks. This technique has helped hundreds of clients overcome even the most obstinate health issues and reclaim the vitality they were meant to experience.

Cynthia has been under contract with Colorado Springs' Memorial Hospital and Memorial Health Link to teach complementary and alternative health care to their employees. In addition to publishing several articles on natural medicine, she has been spotlighted on local TV news stations in the series One Healthy Minute, as well as the Better Business Bureau channel in their Alternative Health Care television series.

Cynthia also regularly offers classes and seminars at The Body Works, Vitamin Cottage, and numerous local businesses in the Pikes Peak region.

Prior to her private practice in Colorado, she sat on the Board of Naturopathic Physicians in Ohio. She has also lobbied with the Colorado Health Freedom Alliance to ensure freedom of choice for natural alternative health for the citizens of the state.
